Singing, skiing, dancing, having fun...here’s to spring in the mountains. At this time of year, there’s a packed program of events with plenty on offer.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Rock The Pistes festival returns to the Portes du Soleil for more one-off gigs and evening après-ski in their resorts. In total, more than 35 concerts are on offer with Trust, Gaëtan Roussel or IAM headlining, and the mountains as the support act. An event not to be missed for ski and music lovers!
There’s something for everyone in this party weekend in Super-Besse: try ski touring to the top of the resort as quickly as possible, or a derby (downhill race) to the bottom of the resort plus plenty of other activities.
An unmissable event, the ‘Percée du Vin Jaune’ takes place in April. Join the party and take part in this unique experience in the Jura Mountains.
It's hard to be more colourful than a spring festival entirely dedicated to children! Around Groupy, the mascot of the resort, your children will live to the rhythm of animations and workshops
Celebrate the end of the season at the bottom of the lifts in Courchevel and dance to the latest tunes, thanks to the Folie Douce. With friends or family, the event is free for lovers of ‘sweet madness’!
It’s a 100% vintage atmosphere for this event in the Hautes-Alpes where there’s a chance to go back in time and (re)discover moguls, ski ballet, synchronized skiing and slalom with your choice of equipment: ski, telemark, snowboard or monoski. And don’t worry, the partying will be vintage too!
Like the famous Color Run, in this case the challenge is to ski to the finish, while facing multiple challenges, such as obstacles along the way and multi-coloured jets, all to an energising soundtrack.
For its second edition, the France Bleu Live Festival comes to Les 2 Alpes. For four days, the resort will move to the rhythm of these perfect performers: Gaëtan Roussel on the 12th, Claudio Capéo on the 13th, Clara Luciani the 14th and Nolwenn Leroy to close on the 15th. It’s a full hour on offer every evening and it's free!
What better way to celebrate spring, than with flowers? In Gérardmer in the Vosges, look out for events themed around this most famous yellow flower, ahead of 50th ‘Fête des Jonquilles’ Festival already scheduled for 2023.
The festival is one to attend for all fans of a beautifully crafted shot and adventure lovers. Head to Val d'Isère for this event, which includes stunning footage from around the world of kayaking, hiking, mountaineering and cycling. In total, there are 11 films that will each be introduced by travel writer Sylvain Tesson.
To celebrate the end of the ski season, there’s no better place than Val Thorens for La Grande Dernière. It’s a combination of sport and parties that includes competitions, waterslides, DJ sets, skiing and freebies and will ensure that spring goes out in style!
